Thrive is an evidence and trauma-informed interactive course designed to empower teens with knowledge and tools to thrive and today's culture. Thrive topics include Stress and the Body, Identifying Emotions, Sense of Purpose and Strength of Character, Risk and Choices, Influence, Optimism, C. A. R. Method, Taking Active Responsibility, and Resistance Training.
In this program youth will learn how to face life problems and deal with their emotions and feelings.
This is an annual event where we include youth and parents in a conference with the different important topics such as: mental health, substance use prevention, mindfulness, and sense of purpose, etc.
The Arizona Adverse Childhood Experiences Consortium promotes a greater understanding of the impacts of toxic stress and trauma and supports efforts to address and prevent them.
An adverse childhood experience (ACE) is trauma that takes place in a child’s life before age 18.
This is an amazing training that will teach you how to approach your personnel, students and even family and friends in a culturally adequate manner and to have a more open communication.
