The National Institutes of Health has found there was a

 5-fold increase in the number of deaths from methamphetamine over the past 8 years. 


 This meth is highly pure ,potent, and low in price. With increased purity and availability, and reduced cost, accidental overdose deaths have been increasing significantly over the past several years. Meth overdose can cause a stroke, heart attack, and seizures. Even if the overdose is not fatal, the health consequences are significant.
